| In Fig. 16 we show an example of the profile calculations. In the plots, the red line corresponds to the Reference Surface. You can see in the upper plot (corresponding to IH) we have inverted the direction of the axes in order to represent the point I to the left of the plot, as happends in the map. Other aspect to see in this plot is that both I and H are external to the convex polygon of the data points. Thus, the black line does not cover all the interval between 0 and 800 m (length of IH). The red line hits I but not H, because the Reference Surface has a convex polygon which is larger than the one described by the elevation data. EasyDEM handles also profiles with complex traces, like the one named CDEFG. The letter sequence is automatically generated, but could also be modified by the user.
