Create layer and import data: Project

If available, you can use information about a DEM to be used as a reference. It might be related with a civil engineering works, legacy information about the ground shape 20 years ago to be used in erosion studies, etc. If not available or pertinent, it is possible to ignore this step and the next going thus straight to the desired operation.
To generate this layer you must perform exactly the same steps already described, using Project instead of Terrain.
Notice that if you define the Project layer, it is mandatory to put enough data to define the DEM. This could be done by importing data from a file, as described before.
