Draw the profile projection

Before drawing the profile, its projection should be prescribed. If it does not exist, it must be created. To do so, you should use the tool presented in Fig. 44. If instead of a segment, you want to use a polyline, you should press the lower right black triangle. Thus, a second button bar with more tools as illustrated in Fig. 45 is displayed, including one for drawing open polylines.

To create either the segment or the polyline which represents the profile projection you must pick with the left button of the mouse in each node of the segment or each vertex of the polyline, closing the tool with the right button. In Fig. 46 we illustrate both cases: the segment EF and the polyline ABCD. The letters which identify the vertex and nodes are assigned automatically.
